The nature of today was pricked executed only during the breeding period. Its name, incidentally, of the English county of Yorkshire, and is, like most terriers, from England. We want to make at this point, no big words, as this breed is enttanden, but “merely” the Yorkie as he is affectionately known, describe the way it is now.

Appendix:

This appendix is not an official part of the standard. However, it seems important and useful to explain some of the areas to the overall understanding further.

On the subject of color Yorkshire Terriers:

The color name “Tan” means the Yorkshire terrier that hair golden, should not act golden red-shaded – not one color, brown or reddish-mahogany (for example, hunting dogs, the term “tan” for a brownish-reddish hair color) . A shaded tan is comparable with the light of a candle. Tan on the head (even sideways) and Bart should, from the “adult” (24 to 30 months) completely free of gray hair.
The steel blue color designation is clearly defined: the silky, smooth and shiny hair coat reflects sunlight in a bluish glow.
Allows a lighter to darker (not silver) steel blue. Not allowed is woolly, cottony and wavy, and a champagne-colored interspersed with white hair or hair coat. Very often a medium to dark anthracite confused with the correct steel blue (this little Yorkies also have a proper tan). – In a Yorkshire terrier who at the age of about 24 to 30 months in Tan is already shaded correctly and without gray hair, the steel blue of the coat hair usually a bit brighter.
The muzzle (the muzzle) should be neither too long nor too short. This also means that a Yorkie is no doll-like appearance would have to “snub nose” and big, round eyes.

The hair on the head are yellow gold – like the sun or the light of a candle shade – no silver-colored, blond, brown or magagoni.
The silky hair coat of an adult Yorkies can be brighter, but not silver and not black. It sometimes seems like a lighter or darker gray – the right hair on the back, however, has a bluish glow in the sun (hence the color name “Blue Steel”).All other color characteristics and size variations, which one would ascribe the Yorkie are caused by sloppy breeding due to popular demand. Even so, some dogs because buyers are not entirely innocent, because they want more and other variations – but they have nothing to do with the Yorkie.
We also know that the Yorkshire Terrier is one of the hardest races to breed (if not the hardest). So should those who turn away from those lovely dogs leave, the act only for business reasons.Note: Due to the silky, shiny hair, a Yorkie, it is always difficult to take pictures that match the original – in ours it is managed fairly well.
A Yorkie is perfect as the picture on the three dressed for an exhibition – it will only make the hair and color quality significantly (as a dog lover’s hair length, of course not so important). On the subject of weight of the Yorkshire Terrier:

By VDH for the breed is a required minimum weight of 2.4 kg, in breeding
suitability tests must be confirmed by weighing. Breed experts believe, however, that the breed would have for a minimum weight of 2.2 kg served, but should not be exceeded.
Although the standard 3.1 kg as the maximum weight sets, in some breed clubs have accepted 3.5 kg, which may not be exceeded.
Ideal as an average weight of 2.8 kg is assumed for males and females alike. There is a misconception that by-one in such good
average of the male is smaller than the female.
A breeder who strives to breed credible, will always keep the maximum weight to the requirements of the standards and “no Yorkies produce” want to be mistakenly referred to as “mini”.
For each amount of good breeders, it can happen to be there on a roll in very rare cases could a Yorkie, which remains very small – but these dogs are usually healthy – yet not so-called “mini”-Yorkies (this breed is called it is not). Anyone who deliberately bred to ever smaller Yorkies, harms the race!
