Miniature Schnauzer have a harsh and wiry double coat with harsh overcoat and a soft undercoat. The coat comes primarily in four colors Black, Slat and Pepper, White and Black and Silver. Miniature Schnauzer has a characteristic long head with bushy beard, mustache and eyebrows, which makes them easily identifiable.
