Boston Terrier is a breed of dog from USA, who is also known as American Gentleman, Boston Bull or Boston Bull Terrier. Boston Terrier is a non-sporting breed of dogs that was developed around 1870. Intelligent and friendly Boston Terriers can often be very much stubborn. Boston Terriers are related to the original Bull and Terrier breeds of dogs from eighteenth century. They are a gentle breed of dogs with strong, friendly and happy personalities.

Boston Terriers come in black, brindle or seal colors with white markings. They are small and compact dogs with erect ears, short muzzle, short tail and square face. The weight of Boston Terrier should be in between 10-25 pounds and they should have a height of 15-17 inches at the withers. Boston Terriers can be easily trained as they are eager to please their owners. Although originally bred as fighting dogs but nowadays, Boston terriers are used as companion dogs. Modern breeds are often alert, agile, expressive and well-mannered dogs.

Maltese is a toy breed of dogs well known for its beautiful silky white fur. Maltese dogs have descended from Central Mediterranean Area and thought to be from the Malta Island but many researchers claim that Maltese have descended from Adriatic island Mijet or a Sicilian town Melita. Maltese puppies are also known by many other names such as The Roman Ladies Dog, Bichon and The Maltese Lion Dog. The origins of Maltese dogs is unknown, as many people consider it as a Spitz type of dog and many think it as Tibetan Terrier.
Maltese has a slightly rounded skull, black nose and a compact body with length almost equal to height. Ears are covered with a thick layer of hair and its eyes are small, dark and surrounded by a skin pigmentation, known as ‘Halo’. Nose color may fade and become pink or light brown with exposure to sunlight. They have along and silky coat without undercoat and the color is generally pure white. Adult make Maltese weighs about 2-5 kg. Being bred as cuddly companion dogs, Maltese have a gentle temperament with lively, playful and love and attention seeking nature.
