Boxer or German Boxer is a breed of stocky, compact and powerful dog from Germany. Boxer is a medium to large sized, short haired breed with broad and short skulls. With their square muzzle, strong jaws and powerful bite, Boxers are suitable for holding on to the prey for long time. Boxer was developed by cross breeding English Bulldog and Bullenbeiser (mastiff breed and now extinct) and were first exhibited in St. Bernard, Munich in 1895.

The head, the most distinctive feature, of Boxer is proportionate to the body, the nose is large with open nostrils, eyes are dark brown and ears are high-set. Their neck is round, strong and muscular and front legs are straight and parallel with well-muscled back legs. Puggle is a cross breed of Beagle and Pug breeds of dogs that was first bred in Wisconsin, USA in the 1980s. From 2000 onward, Puggle has been bred on large scale in many countries. An adult male Puggle weighs between 15 to 25 pounds and stands tall between 10-15 inches at its shoulder. Puggle dogs are developed in many coat colors but the most common is fawn. Completely black and a mix of different colors such as brown, black , fawn and white are also common colors.

Since Puggles are developed from cross breeds of Beagle and Pugs, they may display uncommon characteristics and traits different from the parents and hence their appearances may also vary differently. Maltese is a toy breed of dogs well known for its beautiful silky white fur. Maltese dogs have descended from Central Mediterranean Area and thought to be from the Malta Island but many researchers claim that Maltese have descended from Adriatic island Mijet or a Sicilian town Melita. Maltese puppies are also known by many other names such as The Roman Ladies Dog, Bichon and The Maltese Lion Dog. The origins of Maltese dogs is unknown, as many people consider it as a Spitz type of dog and many think it as Tibetan Terrier.

Maltese has a slightly rounded skull, black nose and a compact body with length almost equal to height. Ears are covered with a thick layer of hair and its eyes are small, dark and surrounded by a skin pigmentation, known as ‘Halo’. Nose color may fade and become pink or light brown with exposure to sunlight. They have along and silky coat without undercoat and the color is generally pure white. Adult make Maltese weighs about 2-5 kg. Being bred as cuddly companion dogs, Maltese have a gentle temperament with lively, playful and love and attention seeking nature.
