Brittany Spaniel is a breed of gun dog that has been developed primarily for birds hunting. It is also known as American Spaniel, and Brittany Pointer, and it was developed in the Brittany Province of France in the 1800s. Brittany Spaniel is a hearty, medium sized dog with almost same height at shoulders as the length of the body. They are athletic, compact and will-built breeds of dogs with distinctive long legs.
Brittany Spaniels have a rounded and wedge shaped head with medium length muzzle and nose with wide nostrils. Eyes are of dark brown colors and often the color of eyes varies with the color of coats.
